Packing up

Now you might be thinking it looks early to be drinking a beer, and you *might* be right, but also note it says "Orange" in the title so it's just like Orange Juice right? I would wager that anyone who has been packing up a trailer/camper/rv and hooking/unhooking, or backing into a spot at campground has had some form of "miscommunication" with their significant other. This picture was from a few days before we actually rolled out and we were doing a test run of where everything was going to go in the bus (namely the dog fence) and as you can tell from the 8am beer it went great! While my husband and I really don't fight much sometimes camping highlights our different ways of thinking. One notable example was when we had our first camper and ended up having our friends back him in the camping spot because we were arguing so much. I was unaware I needed know the exact hand signals as an aircraft marshal, needless to say it didn't go well. While that first time parking the camper wasn't fun it seems from reading numerous rv pages it is a fairly common problem when starting out (well maybe not the aircraft marshalling signals). We have gotten much better over the years as clearly we are still both alive. However there are days and times when our differences are highlighted and packing day is one. In this case it was partially because we had not packed the bus before so it was a learning curve. Really the moral of the story is it's 5 O'Clock somewhere!

Those signals might have been handy in Pennsylvania!
