Maddie the Mobster Returns

My beefcake cat was excited we got a fridge "just for him."

This time Maddie the mobster returned with a two for one deal. We were in West Glacier when the washing machine quite spinning. Thankfully between a very mechanical minded husband and the internet we discovered the the motor brushes were wearing out. Hubby managed to fix them but we did need to replace them so we ended up ordering them and picking them up in Missoula on our way back east.

Happy washer and dryer.

It's not soooo easy to get the washer and dryer out. they are stackable and of course you have to take the dryer out to get to the washer. It ended up being about a 5-6 hour project but in the end everything is working again so I am happpy.

Total pain in the butt to get them out and work on them, but glad it's fixed.

You might be wondering doesn't "twofer" imply two things? And you are correct it does, the second was the fridge. I woke up one morning in Kalispell to the fridge beeping, mind you it was still running but beeping unhappily. After lots of internet research and talking with repair folks hubby determined it was one of two computers in the fridge, either the one in the back of the fridge (not easy to reach) or the one in the front. We managed to order both parts though it took forever to get them and the computer in the back we couldn't order separately we had to order a who new case and plug but at least we got it. By forever I mean the fridge beeped for about 3 solid weeks, we ended up getting a mini-fridge because it couldn't regulate temperature so we left just our pop and water in the main fridge. So we finally got the computer in the back in which came in before the easy to replace one in the front (of course) so we set about taking the fridge out of its built in cabinet.

Not the easiest to move out of place and work on.

It turned out to not be as terrible to get out as the washer/dryer.

The failing computer part that beeped for 3 weeks.

I have to say it wasn't actually as bad as taking the washer and dryer out. Hubby replaced the computer and cord and it stopped beeping finally! Hopefully that's it for the appliances for a while but who knows they are about 15 years old so.......
