Some of you may be wondering "how did you end up living in a bus?" And its a good question because if you had told me a year ago I would be living in a bus I would have laughed and said "Never." So about this time last year we decided to sell our 5 acres, we loved the location, land, barns, and house but circumstances had changed since we had moved in 7 years prior and it was getting to be a lot of upkeep and work with both of us traveling for work on opposite schedules. We decided to downsize and honestly thought it would take longer for our house to sell then it did. Surprise! It sold quickly but lucky for us we had a long close so we didn't have to be out until almost September. At that point we had a contract on another house and already had plans with a builder to add a garage but we couldn't add a 3 season room which was a deal breaker for us as the house was only 900 sq feet. So back to the drawing board. We couch surfed with our parents for a while went on vacation (Hawaii and Disney), and ultimately decided we didn't want to rush into trying to buy a house again but did need a better option then couch surfing. We actually have lived in a toy hauler camper before when we built a house in New Mexico so it wasn't exactly a foreign idea, though in that case we knew we had house so it wasn't as unknown as this was/is. So the ultimate solution to our problem is "Maddie" our bus. Now that we have her I'm glad we haven't bought a house yet with covid and the uncertainty of the airline industry come October 1 (when the government cares act money runs out) one or both of us could be out of a job so for right now we are happy rolling along in Maddie. I will add that 99.9% of the time I am very happy with living full time in the bus but after scrolling through pictures of our old house to put on here it does make me a slightly sad, so now you'll get to see a number of pics from our house we sold last year.

Looking forward to your future adventures. Wish I was on the road too. I kind of like the Bohemian life! (Your Grandma Thora would be cheering you on!)
