Fenn Valley Winery

This was our first experience with Harvest Host and we loved it! I had mentioned Harvest Host in a previous post where wineries/breweries/farms and museums across the country let you stay the night for free with a very reasonable yearly subscription with the expectation that you will purchase something where you are staying.

So Fenn Valley Winery was our first stop, it was pet friendly (a must for us!) and big rig friendly which is also a must as Maddie isn't small. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The wines were amazing as well as the ciders. They had a mulled wine which I loved. I'm a pretty picky about wine (I'm more of a beer person) but I love mulled wine. If you're not familiar with mulled wine it's a sort of "spiced wine" and usually served warm. These days its mostly served in Christmas Markets (think Germany) and usually only available in the fall and winter. I was so excited to learn that Fenn Valley makes a mulled wine year round that was delicious. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention their cider. They make a cherry-apple cider which was exceptionally good and was my husbands favorite. We are very excited to visit another Harvest Host in our future travels!

Wine tasting!

You are giving me the "wanderlust itch"! Makes me want to run out, buy an RV, and hit the road. Glad you guys are turning an unexpected situation (the pandemic) into the chance of a lifetime! Love following your blog!
