We are officially on our way!
We are departing! While our plans keep changing and adjusting (thanks covid) we are on our way and it currently looks like we will be in Michigan for most of the summer. We don't plan to spend all that time in one spot though as there are plenty of beautiful places to check out. The first place we are going to overnight is actually a Harvest Host, which so far seems like a great program, local wineries/breweries/farms/museums and golf courses across the country let you stay there for the night for free after paying for the subscription. There are no hookups (electric/water/sewer) so you have to be independent which isn't a problem in Maddie.
The dogs don't seem thrilled with the whole "my house is moving" concept. Floppy seems very worried and Chi-Chi just seems confused, hopeful this situation improves as we travel more because standing right above the stairs for the trip seems like a bad idea.
